Indigenous Navigator data dissemination and outreach in Kenya

One of the concerns raised by indigenous peoples within the pilot project sites during the Indigenous Navigator's data collection, was the culture of non-governmental organisations extracting data from them, but failing to bring that data back or use it for the benefit of the community itself.

After Indigenous Navigator data analysis which led to the development of site-specific case studies, the Kenyan Indigenous Navigator implementing partners conducted the community outreaches with the objective of disseminating the generated data and reports as well as data on the SDG back to the communities.

Mr. James Twala - Indigenous Navigator National co-ordinator sharing at the Maji-moto community outreach.

Mr. James gave a snapshot of the site-specific case study emphasising on the goals that strongly came during the community needs identification and prioritization which includes education, water and health.
